Cannot set default printer on windows 7.- Solved!

Its been a week since I got the problem on my excel on Windows 7, I cannot print from excel but can print on Word, PowerPoint and any other application.

When I look into printer settings it seems okey but I found out that no default printer is set. When try to make default printer it says

"Unable to setup Default Printer, error message: 0X00000709"

This is how I fix it.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in the start search and click Enter.
3. Locate down the path below.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

4. then right click on Windows

5. Click permissions

6. add your username and check full access

7. click apply and OK then restart your PC.

Try again to set default printer.

If the error occur again.

Make your printer offline first before setting default printer. If you can set it on default, Make it now Use online. see image below.
