7 Reasons Why Networking or MLM is Not a Good Idea

Most of these networking guys or professionals as they would call themselves will tell you so much about financial freedom and how they have become “rich” without really working. They will invite you to become their down line and tell you how their team members are so helpful with each other, and they would take care of you. “Your $500 will become $1000 in just a week’s time,” they would say. Tempting, right?  Be the smarter person and think a lot, and we mean a whole lot before you even get into this kind of business. Now there's a lot networking scam, be careful. Here are 7 reasons why:

1. Quick and Easy Money is Fake or Bad Money

When someone invites you to become their downline in a networking business and tell you that your initial investment will be multiplied within just a short time, we’re not exactly telling you that they’re lying. That can be true too; but you must consider that there really is no way you can get quick and easy money. If this is the case, then why is the rest of the world still working so many different jobs day in and day out just to earn a few hundred dollars? It can be true, though; but you must find out the money’s source. How can it be legal and good money if you are supposed to do practically nothing and your money grows a hundred fold?

2.  You Don’t Have to Work, Just Invite Friends

Simply inviting friends to come to a seminar become your down line or to invest their own money in a networking business is hard work. There’s also a possibility that none of your friends would even want to join the business. Then the hard work comes in because you now have to approach random strangers to have them join the group.

3. You Might Need to Sell Low-Quality Products

Most multi-level marketing groups offer product selling to their members because this is a way to cover-up their networking business. They give you products in exchange for your investment money. Usually, these are health supplements that most doctors wouldn’t even recommend as treatment. Once again, selling requires hard work!

4. There’s a Possibility That You Will Lose Friends

Somehow related to number 2, your friends will most likely decline your networking offer but then your uplines will pressure you into bringing a successful downline so you will try to convince your friend until he or she gets annoyed. In most cases, friendship over!

5. You May Need to Lie Every Once in a While

In order to convince others to become your downline in a networking business, you must show proof of how your life has improved when you invite them. However, when you’re still waiting for your “big break” that may actually never come, you may be forced to show fake checks, fake photos and other things that can convince them that you have actually succeeded and they should also try it out.

6. Your Downline Will Most Likely Hate You For Life

Chances are a successful invite who will then become your downline is one of your friends. Somehow related to number 4, your downline who will most likely not earn from this networking business just like you and will hate your for life because you just convinced them to throw away their hard-earned money.

7. You Will Be Stealing from People

Similar to number 1, in the event that you succeed in making loads of money in a networking business, you’d have to be on the top level of the chain or the pyramid. In order for you to make significant money, you need to keep on recruiting downlines. You will make money. Your downlines won’t. You are practically stealing from them.
